The price of gold on the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex). had fallen to 859.60 U.S. dollars per troy ounce, as the strengthening U.S. dollar. But soaring oil prices again, the achievement was not sustained.

Until finally the price of gold for August on the trade on the Comex division, New York Mercantile Exchange was down 10.90 U.S. dollars per troy ounce to a position 872 U.S. dollars per troy ounce. "The price of gold had fallen to the level of support at around 860 but bargain hunting re-emerged,"said Carlos Sanchez, precious-metals analyst at CPM Group.

While in Hong Kong, is at 873.10 to 873.60 dollars per ounce, up from closing Thursday at 871.20 to 871.70 U.S. dollars.
